Saber Spin Tutorial 5
« on: December 11, 2005, 06:28:38 PM »
This is the fifth video in the tutorial series

Move depicted:

-Basic Spin to Inverted Hand Switch

Watch Streaming Video by clicking on image:

Now take the spins that I have covered and splice them all together.  The more you practice the more fluid your movements will become.  Just take is slow in the beginning.

Next weekend I will cover other spins.

Awesome Tutorial, thanks for the tips Anakin, I think it will be nice if you would come up with a DVD with tutorials on how to, and I would definately buy it. I know MR wouldn't but it will be nice if they do. Keep up the good work, Whenever I get the chance, I'll be practicing them.

I'm happy that you are getting them down!

These things look complicated but once you know how to do it, its really simple.

I'll be making some more later in the week.

And if I get a digital camcorder soon I will make a DVD version, hee hee.

Awesome man, I'm looking forward to that. I think MR should hire you as a teacher of how to use the FX's and come up with an official DVD.

Awesome!  Lots easier to learn these from your tutorials than watching the DVD in slo-mo.  The DVD would be a good idea too, once you have a lot of tutorials.

You want to know a secret?

I didn't learn the majority of these spins from Star Wars.   I learned them from watching The Highlander TV series!  That show has some excellent swordfights.

I also used to watch Highlander both the movies & tv-series. I learned my spins mainly from the Conan movies.

I'm going to reload the videos again to that site, hopefully that will work.

The odd thing is, the other videos I have on that site work fine.  But they haven't had so much activity in so little time as my tutorial vids have had.  I think it just had something to do with too many views at one time or something, i dunno?
