Calvary Custom Sabers presents; A MR Anakin AOTC conversion

Greetings Saberfans.  8)

Our very own Soma Kurusu contacted me about converting this saber for him a few months ago. He wanted a Petite crouton installed instead of the standard MR board, and also all the LED effects the PC could handle. 8)  This saber is perfect for reveal chassis, so a reveal one I made. The chassis is full brass with an Auqa Aura quartz crystal. This thing looks amazing sitting around with the chamber revealed. I kept the chamber simple, because the saber itself doesn't have alot of "flair" flair either. When he first got the saber, the grill had been glued with super glue, so unfortunately there wasn't much we could do with that. The rest of the saber was in excellent condition though, and it was a pleasure for me to be able to convert this saber for him.

2002 MR AOTC Anakin hilt with Aluminum bladeholder.
Seoul p4 Blue running at 1100ma
7.2V li-ion system
Brass chassis with real aqua aura quartz chamber
Replaced and Animated LEDs near emitter.
Original switch function
Petite Crouton v1.5 with madcow's "revenge" and custom boot.

This is the first "minimalist" crystal chamber I've seen, and I love it.  Simple is better after all!  Beautiful hilt.

Yeah, you should see it when its in your hands.  I cried a little.  NO, not really, but I really do love this saber.  Yeah..its big, but it was the first MR after all...and I have really big hands, so it fits better than it should. :P

 i like many aspects of this saber  especially the emitter and the brass work, it looks very realistic and functional .. just one query ? is there any danger of shorts with the PC- being so close to the frame work, ... WELL DONE. :)

Nope, the PC is mounted with an insulating doublestick tape, and the PC is about 1/4" away from the interior grip wall.  8)
