notify not working

i just read ervs latest update to his announcement thread and i realized that i got no notification that he posted a reply
notify usually works but not on that thread??
this worries me as im eagerly awaiting the next cf run

can a mod please check out what is going on.. again notify works on other threads
i just know im gonna miss out again..  :'(

did anyone else get the notify?

well if notify aint working for that thread only something is wrong there

The notify option for the thread has been overloaded...Well whatever the issue, it wasn't working for me either.

I just received the notify, so it has a delay... Of about an hour or more.
But so do the pm, they reach to my email hours later.

just got my notification - 56 minutes late. the timestamp on it is right at least.

and this is normal for all notifications from here for me.

After I posted my "test" in the topic, I received two PM's (almost immediately) that they received that notification but not erv's (or not as quickly as Erv's).

This sounds like a server issue.  The notification is obviously working... but if the server is slow or overloaded, you can get a delay.  I don't think there's much we can do about that but the Admins would know better.

Same thing with the PM notifications.  Sometimes I get them instantaneously, other times... it can take an hour.
