I keep getting a Villagephotos.com pop up

I'm currently getting a pop up for log in on img.villagephotos.com everytime I come here to the forums and even after I exit out of it, it comes back the minute I go to another section in the forums. It only does it here at this site, no where else.

Any one else having this issue?

Also, none of my pictures uploaded in my village photos account are showing up here, either. This has never happened to me before, so I have no idea what's going on.

*Edit* now two of them in my sig are showing for me, but I'm still getting the popup, what the heck?  ::)

It has something to do with your sig, and how its hosted at villagephotos. It happens to me, and I suspect most anyone who clicks on a topic that you post in. I dont believe villiagephoto is optimal for forum use.

you can test that by removing your sig pics, trying photobucket and see if it still happens.

Thing is, I've been using them for YEARS here, and this is the first time I've ever had this issue.

I just clicked the thread (obviously) and the pop-up came up for me.

It didn't come up the last time, but now it's back, although all my pictures are showing again. I google searched and found other people are experiencing the same thing at other forums as well.

I just changed my pictures over to photobucket, I'll see if that clears this issue up.

Just happened to me when I tried to look at GG's feedback thread... it wants me to sign in to my account to look at his thread.... I don't have an account with them...

I believe it's some kind of hack or virus causing this, I haven't been prompted since I switched my pictures over, though I haven't been to any other parts of the forums as I'm busy writing up my Corran Horn lightsaber review at the moment. I'd recommend that anyone using village photos switch their photos over to photo bucket or some other free hosting site for the time being.

Yeah the FX home page keeps telling me i need to upgrade my flash. But i already have, and this is the only site that requests it of me. So no more cool voice and little robot for me! lol

Every Time : In the past I bought  from  Canada  > I have been receiving "Vulgar " emails ever since ... I have been Fighting those ugly emails ?  :P

I believe some people have sigs/profile pics that are hosted in a private album in villagephotos, thus with the password-asking popup.

Maybe we should announce people to stop using it if possible.
