This is looking good
Yes maul is back! Woop woop
-
I have this fealing they are finally going somewhere with this season.
Must be the first time im actually hyped to watch an episode of rebels.
Im still shocked how bad everything looks.
-
WoW!
-
It's finally getting interesting…
Among a number of interesting revelations is the fact that a secret jedi temple/library is functioning few years before ANH.
Final fate of Ahsoka remains clouded
-
There's a reason Disney cancelled the Clone Wars, it was so that characters like Maul and ahsoka wouldn't get killed off before they could spin some more money off them. Don't be surprised if Ahsoka even makes it to one of the new movies, I don't think Vader will kill her, i think Vader will not be able to and you will see her get Frozen in carbonite in the hope that one day he can turn her.
-
An Ahsoka movie will be interesting… I would agree with marketing reason for keeping Ahsoka and Maul alive… but I just don't know about all these geriatric SW characters. Some have not aged well.
-
Well is Maul is now old but, Ahsoka is about 25, so carbon freeze will keep her fresh lol
By geriatric do you mean the clones?
-
Yes, clones definitely and my alter ego Hondo the pirate too. May be other characters too like Maul and Han Solo in TFA.
-
Don't forget it's only 10 years after ROTS so the clone wars team are probably wanting to finish up what they never got to do.
I don't mind them being involved really. Boba Fett will feature at some point too.
-
My guess is this will be more or less a tease of Vader vs Ahsoka, more akin to a test while our heroes explore the Malachor Sith Temple. Like when Luke "fought" Darth Vader in the dark side cave on Dagobah. I hope Ezra is separated from the Ghost crew for a while so he can spend more time with the old master himself, Darth Maul. I also think it would be one xxx of a twist if Maul joins the Rebels for a time giving the rebellion something of its own dark side whilst giving the Empire something to really consider a threat... until Kenobi finds out, that is!
-
Yeah it would be a twist if Maul joined the crew lol.
But i have a feeling this is going to be either Maul in hiding or this is the other use that Sidious refers to when he defeats maul after they fight. Could Maul be the one training the Enquistors for the Emperor?
And i think your right about it being a test for Ahsoka, just like Luke, her Jedi trial.
-
That is an interesting point about Darth Maul. I wonder if Maul is the Snoke character in TFA. What if Maul survived SW Rebels series and Empire vs Rebellion war. After the fall of Sidious and Vader, he will be the only surviving Sith.... then he embarks on a global domination behind Force One mastermind...
Snoke will probably end up being some other force user but the possibility is tantalizing.

I have actually heard there is a great deal of speculation that this leader of the Jedi Temple Guard is a likely candidate for Snoke. And doesn't that new inquisitor look familiar? Seems very similar to Starkiller's Sith Stalker armor from TFU.

Thanks for sharing!! I'm a huge fan!!

New Enquistor? I only see the 5th brother and 7th sister from the first half of the season. Do you mean the temple guards?
-
I can't wait to see how the rest of this series unfolds, mid season trailer definitely got me excited for the direction its heading!
-
He's in the line-up of Inquisitors to the left,
