XRAD'S PIP-BOY 2000 MK VI Working Geiger Meter and radio
« on: October 24, 2020, 11:27:55 AM »
Using WiFi ESP8266 scanner to obtain signal strength from local wifi nodes, I then send this data to teensy 3.2 and display it with piezo sound. added some functioning buttons. The radio is the Pip-Boy upgrade module and works great as is.

Thx EXAR KUN! Appreciate the comment. I know it's not 'exact'...black gauge face, blue button lights, and top switch...but it does work great.  I am working on the monitor right now using blazing fast 480x272 LCD touch with 60hz RA8875 driver.  I will try some pip boy screen shots, but this will probably be more like a GPS locator or game...not sure yet...have to figure out some tri-state buffer issues first as SD card is needed for maps and pics, etc...
