hey guys, i'm converting an obi wan tpm fx saber into a static saber, i've taken all the electronics out, but in the process have ruined the faux led bezels (i've scratched them - i tried unscrewing them with pliers rather than drilling them out). has anyone thats done a conversion kept these screws? i need them to be mint (i dont care about the plastic bit being drilled out as i'm planning on putting real leds in them). i just need the visible part of the screws mint.

has anyone got any spare?

thanks

mike

I reckon these are the correct type that you're after
I remember reading that the movie prop had clear LEDs in them and they sanded them down.
I'd try pruchasing a few clear (or my preference frosted no colour) LEDs and insert them in the bezel holder, after grinding/sanding them down, using a fine grit last to have them a polished LED look.

I'm doing something similar to my TridCloudwalker Ki Adi style saber. I'm replacing the Chrome Bezel Red LED with a frosted Red/Blue for off/on.
I'm buying a few of the bezels that Tim has at TCSS and pulling them apart.

I'd reckon it'd be relatively easy to do, I'd offer to make you some and Post them out, ex-Australia, but it will cost a bit, going from TCSS to me to you etc.
let me know if you need help
good luck too
it's all Elemental
