It was done for the prototype so I'm not sure on that but it could be an option the JQs may offer

Yoda, count me in the list for one of these when they are available in the new year.

New Reproduction Graflex Hilts

Awesome pics
But i have a question, i noticed there are no holes on the bottom of the saber, how the kobold D-ring will be added? any clue? should we make a hole in a barbarian way with a drill ?  i would have no courage to ruin that beautiful graflex bottom base !!!!
same speech for the side rubber grips

Glue. Epoxy of some sort. Blu-tac if you're really on a budget. Or buy multiple bases. :P

Oh perfect, that is awesome, congratulation for this project, i just cannot wait to have couple of those !!!!

Ps
As i perfect paranoid i noticed one thing, as i can see from comparison pics, the little bended flaps on midder flash clamp are not exactly the same size as original ones, they look narrower, do you think ,even smaller, they can provide a tight and secure grip for both sections?

I thought it was going to be an exact replica?

I can't be sure of the angle of the flaps because they're not facing the camera at the same direction but I do think they're a bit thinner.

Correct, and I thought I mentioned it in the initial review but they are a bit thinner
however they are stainless steel and from what I can tell by my prototype is they as
strong or stronger than a vintage or previous replica hilts.

Looks like the emitter's ring might be a little wider too.
