This was my...hmmm...let me think...oh, yes...my 6th saber.
When I got it, I was excited. I had always loved this saber and couldn't wait to open it up. It was a gift for my wife and she was excited too.
Then we opened the box.
Aesthetically pleasing, but fat. VERY fat. Luke one-handed this puppy in ESB (which is how he lost it...twice). But you can't one-hand this sucker...unless, of course, you're Kobe or KG.
Other problems:
1. The grips. Aren't they supposed to be rubber? Sorry...plastic. Yuck.
2. The switch. This I don't get at all. Why the eye? Why an up-and-down switch? I feel like I'll break it if I don't use my whole thumb to switch it on and off.
3. The blade. Wow. Talk about dim. And this bad boy needs *6* (yes, 6...S-I-X) AA batteries. Where is the power going? Certainly not to the LEDs. An entropy crisis indeed.
Anyways, I scored an original Graflex from Jetsaber (thanks again!) and I'll be sending it to Yoda for custom work. And you know what? It'll be just as expensive as buying this Masters and sending it to UltraSabers for an upgrade.
Again, if you're interested...PM me. ;)
