I think the atmosphere was a bit different without the park, which I don't think was a bad thing, I think everyone was so used to having the park (I mean it made sense as it was part of the title at the time
) in the films that it just felt like it was the same film with different dinosaurs for a while, as you said Scorpion, so I certainly enjoyed the hybrid element in the last film (Jurassic World). I personally still enjoyed this one a lot, I just thought it was different and I can't really compare it to the other films because it was almost like watching a different film franchise (which again I think was a good thing and it was a good time to have this sort of switch up). It was certainly a bit of an emotional rollercoaster for me. And the camera panning round the window was making me feel so dizzy
I like that they managed to embed the 'Jurassic World' part in the new film too. But yeah I agree Yaraell I think it would be nice to see a bit more about their hybridisation process and technology etc and I still don't really understand Maisie's story fully, I'm hoping these are things they intentionally left a bit loose and briefly skimmed over so that they can make a well-timed emotional sequence on it in the next film.
