I'm confused. If you purchase the Darth Maul double pack does that mean if you want to display or use just 1 saber
it won't have the battle damaged look? Is this a feature of the single saber only. They word the ad kind of strange
on the blog.

The double pack Darth Maul will contain two battle damaged sabers.
The sabers in the double pack will be identical to the saber in the single pack. :)

Thanks for the info. I read a little more and it seems that when in it's single form, the
saber has a screw in section you can put over the speaker which actually shows the crystal.
To create the double, you unscrew the cyrstal piece on the sabers and insert your connecting
piece. I can't wait to get this one. It seems to be the most accurate in terms of size as well.

hhmmm i take it that you will get the two stands.  but i am pretty sure that it will be only the one coupler in the double pack, this was confirmed months ago i think.

You do only get one coupler with double pack.  I'm not sure about the stands though.  Thats a good question.

I think there will be only one stand capable of holding the double saber and the one saber option. Thats not too hard to make..
When in double saber mode the stand would hold the saber on the tips of the twho hilts. When in single blade mode, it would hold the saber blade and the final half of the blade.

Was I clear?

I got the jist of what you were saying, sometimes our mind thinks quicker than our fingers! ;D  Anyway, what you were saying about the stand makes sense.  I would think it would be a tad longer than the other stands.

I meant "Final half of the hilt" not "Final half of the blade"...

Funny I know before I have said I will wait but I when I heard that Borders was going to have the two halfs, I couldn't resist so I figured out how I could save the money and I did, so I reserved two halfs for 211.95 and that is with tax, they said they will have them towards the end of March just in time for when I move into my home
