Sure Ani! I've already planned what I'm going to do!;)

But, for the moment, and to make a conclusion with the making of the first one, here are some pics with a higher quality than before!;) I've just bought a digital camera!;)

Nice pics, Louis. ;) Really high quality. The details are all nice and sharp.
Your saber has a real OT look to it. 8)
Love the cyan colour. :)
It looks a bit like you have two switches on your control box. Is there second switch and if so what does it do? ???

Thansk a lot Timmy-Wan!;)

Well, in fact, the only functionnal button is the little brown one. But I have to change it one day, it is so "sensitive". And I don't like what it looks like, but it's what Iv'e get with the electronic kit!;)

The workmanship is incredible, but that control box seems to spoil it

No offense Louis, this tiny button does not look so good, I admit it  :)
I made this choice since it is bascically enough for starting my electronic boards and kits, and really cheap. There are unfortunately too many buttons available to pick up one and impose it, so I chose this one (I did not want to buy 10 differents switches to sell them, I could no be price competitive with electronic shop). This switch might be replaced, or simply hidden behind some aluminum piece to make a better look. Adding some foam between an aluminum plate and the swith allows a smoother and soft "touch" for powering the saber on or off. I'm going to add a few lines in my tutorial about how to use rubber buttons (like the one on game pads for instance) for the control switch/button. They are flat, easy to integrate, and soft to the touch.

BTW : some of you asked about it a few post before if I remember well : my luxeon tutorial and all documentations of my products are now translated in english and available as PDF files on my web site, in the tutorials and documentation sections.

About the sensitivity, I've setup your module for some other smoother switch I used, and forgot to change the settings in the config file for your saber. That will be changed next time we'll meet by simply change a value on the SD card of the sound module (or I'll indicate you how to do it in the meanwhile if you buy a SD card reader/writer).
I really like your pics, my gallery now start to be really growing, thanks again for your feedback !

I'm very glad that you like it!

Here are some extra pics and a new vid;)  In fact, I've just finished the top of the hilt! And a lot of détail inside that you can't see!

It is fully duallableèè The Plecter Labs kit is really amazing( the electronic parts are from that society;)

I'm really happy with my very first LightSaber made with my own hands!;)

yeah i must admit....im not entirely sold on the look of the control box....but its still freakin awesome. but i also like that look cause its a home made look, which as we all know..many jedi made there sabers from parts they could slap together. so my compliments to you louis!
