Is the rgb av switch from vaders vault programmable or does it swap between colors?

I could be wrong here, as I don't have one from VV, but I believe they wire it using the main LED pads as opposed to the accent led pads, so it will match whatever the blade colour is.

I have RGB switches on my Dark Rivals and yes the color switches to whatever the blade color is.

Thanks! Next time I use an av switch for an rgb saber, I'll get it from vaders vault. I am satisfied with my white switch though.

UGH after changing some of the settings on my saber my RGB switch no longer functions. It doesn't light anymore. Does anyone know of anything I can try before sending this saber back? @Seth Skywalker it sounds like you know alot about saber construction.

Well, it sounds like an unstable/broken solder connection to me. Or a short. In any case if you want to fix anything you will have to open it up, and take a look inside. Then you could post some pics how it looks like inside.

Or maybe the configuration files aren't in order. I have accidentally put in a too big number( in the configuration files )and it seemed like the led wasn't working any more.

Hmm. Interesting idea. I did put the saber back to it's default configuration and that didn't help at first. But miraculously I judt turned it on again and it lit up. But now the LED light stays on even when the blade is off which is unlike before. The other saber with the added sound fonts and effects works perfectly.

Wwweeeeelll, most likely it is an unstable connection then. Anything happen when you shake your saber a bit?

Not really. I'm so cautious with these. I wish there was a way to charge the battery and access the SD card without having to pull the entire mechanism out. All those wires getting pulled on over and over makes me uneasy.

Don't open it. Just contact VV and they will sort you out. It's probably just the config files.

That’s what I thought at first but he said the config files were in order. It would be weird if without any changes to the files, the switch stays turned on even if the blade is turned off, wich it didn’t before. Sounds more like an issue with some of the soldering.

But yeah, if you don’t like taking things apart (wich I love doing ) then contacting VV is the thing you should do.

The fact that it happened when reconfiguring, leads me to believe it is an SD card issue.  However, without having it in hand, hard to tell for sure.  Easiest way is to send it back to us.
