Help with component dimensions
« on: January 13, 2018, 09:59:48 AM »
         Hi everyone,
I'm really new to all of this and I'm in the process of gathering materials to start building a DIY saber soon. But before I buy any materials I'll be using for the hilt, emitter, etc. I would like to know if things like light system, battery case, and soundboard would even fit inside. Would anyone happen to have the dimensions for these, or some common dimensions for them? If possible, specifically diameter/width.

Thanks so much and i look forward to getting to work on the new project.

This depends on what battery, soundboard and other components you want to use and the hilt parts you are considering. Not to sound like a jerk here, but you need to do the work. Only you know what you want. Google is your friend, go online and do the research. All the information is readily available on the vender websites.

It's impossible to know what will fit inside your hilt without knowing how big your hilt is. Obviously, yes they CAN fit inside a hilt, since we do. But some combinations of internals will not fit inside some hilts.
