Quick question about resistors
« on: January 09, 2018, 01:15:43 PM »
I'm planning on a CF v9.0 build, with just a dr/dr/w tri cree. If I am reading the manual correctly, I do not need resistors for the dr/dr dies (which I am planning to wire in series), but I will need one for the white for FoC. This will be with a 7.4v battery pack, no hack. Just wanting to make sure if I'm right.

The Reds can be run in series from the main drive and will not needs resistors,  but you will need one for the white FoC die,  so you are correct.

All correct ! You can also use (very effectively) a coin-cell sized current regular ($2-3) for the FoC die, in place of a resistor.
