Im working on a pvc lightsaber and trying to decide what led is appropriate. Would a tricree get to hot for the pvc if housed in a copper cap for a heat sink?

What are you running the Tri-Cree at as far as voltages and amps? How do you have it adhered to the cap? You likely arent exceeding the absolute temps if its attached with a thermal epoxy or direct contact with screws.
