Adding profile pictures

Hi guys, so how do you do this? I see on some people's profiles they have a number of profile pics, but I cant for the force of me figure out how to do it. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

1. Go to your profile
2. On the right side it should say profile pictures
3. At the bottom of the profile picture section it should say add picture
4. You should be given the option to select a file (if you are on a mobile device it will let you access your pictures)

Actually, profile pictures is a separate section of the profile that allows you to add some images for other users to see when they view your profile.

Your avatar is selected by going to the Modify Profile tab and selecting "Forum Profile" from the dropdown menu.
You can then select an avatar from the system, choose an external image by URL, or uploadone from your PC

not trying to resurrect this thread……
But, Ive tried both ways and still can't get a pic up.
tried loading from flickr, Facebook, and desktop nothing is working.

any suggestions or an easier way?

This worked for me. I added one to my profile, and I added the above pic to yours.

This worked for me. I added one to my profile, and I added the above pic to yours.

I had trouble with this when I tried to do mine a while back. It had to do with file size, as I believe any pic you try to use needs to be a max of 80 x 80, correct?

80x80 is the Avatar size.
Profile pictures are a different area in your profile.

I put in the http link and it won't do anything. just shows the blue question mark box.

you can't use that URL for your image....

you need to use the IMAGE url, not the page URL.
