Title: Help wiring biscotte V4
Post by: Master Shaftner on January 30, 2018, 07:16:03 PM
So this is my first ground up install and I need some help.

I’m using a single red diode LED from ultrasabers, an ultrasabers buck puck, a non illuminated AV switch, Nano biscotte v4 with a TCSS wiring harness, LED ran crystal chamber, speaker, running on an 18650.

I can’t seem to get the xxx wiring correct and I can’t find anything online similar... PLEASE help me.(https://thumb.ibb.co/iDzSb6/image.jpg) (https://ibb.co/iDzSb6)

The buckpuck gets wired in place of the led on the nb (between L- and vBat). The led is wired to the output of the buckpuck

FYI, Buck pucks typically will not work with the NB boards as the puck requires at least 5 volts to operate. Also,  this may seem like a dumb question,  but why is there a resistor on the negative lead coming from the battery pack?

warning, buckpucks became a generic naming for external current regulators, and some people use them with success in place of the resistors. But you are probably right regarding buckpuck from buckpucks and 5V, I forgot this.
