The first line should be...
LS - "I thought you were dead"

Just my thought...

I think it should start up by him igniting his lightsaber and saying: we meet at last...the circle is now complete...or something like that

Or the more ambiguous "I thought I Lost you"

Could mean ether when he lost the saber in ESB or his "daughter" when the knights of Ren slaughtered his students, saved by Ben/Ren.
Remember when Maz said "the one who left you can never return but the other can" or something like that. I think she is talking about Ben and Luke, respectively.

I would like him to start laughing cynically and pull of his clothes to reveal a Joker costume.

If that's your thing, then more power to you.  Eye candy couldn't make up for trite dialog and a story that moved like molasses in January.

I dunno J, so long as there's no mention of sand in VIII, how bad could it be??

Although chances may be slim, I'd personally like this moment to maybe only be in a teaser/trailer or appear in a flashback and have the movie actually start in the near future to stick with the motif of time gaps that Star Wars has always had in between each film.

Oh, it could be bad.  Real bad.  It could suck so bad that light would bend around it and time would slow down as you got close to it.  It could be a festering gob of suck that might unravel reality itself.  Never put it past "hollyweird" to build a cinematic turd.  Just when you think you've seen the worst movie ever, there's always some hopeful screenwriter coming off a 9-day coke binge that thinks he's writing a script like it's inspired scripture.
