Luke Hero Activation Box Question
« on: September 08, 2016, 09:16:07 AM »
Im thinking of purchasing the Saberforge Prodigal Son Luke Hero saber since the price is so nice and the saber looks so xxx cool...but as most of you know, the activation box on their hilt has painted on green and red arrows and engraved slotted screws...which kind of kills the hole thing for me.

Does anyone know of someone who makes more accurate activation boxes for these hilts?

I mean, I could always drill out some 2mm holes for the lights and make a resin mold to cover the arrows and I can always drill out the fake screws and install real slotted screws...(and although fun to do) I would still like to know if something like this already exists and save me some time

Yes, there are many options out there. There some vendors both on here and FB that have some decent and wonderful ROTJ hilts with the functional control box switch and arrows.

LDM Custom Sabers (On here)
Vader's Vault (they do limited runs of this saber)
Khal's Sabers
Evolution Arms

Does anyone offer the box by itself? these hilts are great and all but $150 -$300 is what I'm looking to spend on an empty hilt...it's just my price range...

These hilts above are gorgeous but way over my budget :(

As far as i know, no one sells the box separately.  It's the hardest part of the saber to make, so it isn't a cost effective thing to offer as a standalone part.
