Are all the grips made from hardened plastic? Anyone opted to do as I have done and found rubber grips?

Having issues putting this thing together at the moment.

The red button is giving me trouble for starters. Most of this isn't able to be assembled as it stands anyways until I get the remaining parts in and fitted.

Any advice on how to fix it where the red button isn't falling out?

I added a little epoxy in the hole and then glued the button in after the epoxy dried. Nice and clicky. I also added a strip of tape around the bottom half of the button. It gives a great resistance.

A little dab of this will do ya. Quakehold! 88111 Museum Putty Neutral - - Amazon.com

Does that interfere with any buttons beneath?

I've actually decided to make this build for my niece who I took to see the movie yesterday. She's a big sci-fi fan.

I assume you added electronics?
