LB Custom "Revan Saber"
« on: April 24, 2013, 05:05:09 PM »
Hello All,

This is one of my personal projects that I just finished up this last weekend. I decided to work and finish it up in between jobs. It is a Revan hilt made by Nocturne Armory, one I purchased a couple of months ago. I have always wanted one of these sabers ever since I read the "Revan" book by Drew Karpyshyn who I immediately labeled as my favorite author. He brought the character to life and made me a big fan next to my man "Bane".
Anyway this saber was relatively easy to install and didn't take more than a few days to complete. I decided to put a CF6 with a CEX in because I wanted the saber to have the ability to have multi color changing options since Revan did indeed change his saber color more than a few times throughout his career. The saber has a simple knurled activation switch and small aux swtich just underneath the hilt. I used a 10w led engine RGBW with GG in parallel and R and B on channel one and two on the CEX. It hallows loud with a 2w bass speaker and runs off a 4 14500 Li ion pack with the recharge port just in front of the covertec knob. The R.I.C.E. port is inside the hilt behind the speaker to keep out of the way, plus I didn't want anymore holes than I had to use.
Enjoy and feedback welcome.

Thanks,

Bane

Nice work LB! I've been wanting a Revan and I love that you made it fully loaded. I've been bugging O.R to make one for me but no luck so far

Revan all day, every day!! Love it!

Out of curiosity, how much is it for an empty Nocturne Armory Revan hilt?

The Revan saber is one of my favorites - simple yet elegant.  I've been wanting to see one of these with a CF6 and CEX since, as you pointed out, Revan does canonically use just about every color saber at one time or another.  Thanks for making it happen and great job with this LB!  ;)
