Hello, i was wondering if you could help me answer a question about the Crystal Focus X.
The page reads that it can take a Power source: One or two cell, 3.7v or 7.4v batter pack.
If i was to run a NeoPixel blade off the Crystal Focus X would a
Panasonic 7.4v Li-ion 3400mAh 18650 Battery Pack be my best option?
thank you for any help you can provide.

Nick,
Been down this road, 7.4 may kill your board and or the pixel strips... If it is more run time either get the dual 3.7v or a 26650 5500mah which is larger physically(think c cell battery vs AA cell battery.) Also make sure it is the High Drain type(10+ Amps) or it will not have enough power to drive the pixel strips.

7.4v won't kill your board

Actually that is true as I proved, but it may kill some pixels as it did to me :(

Nick,
Glad we could help. I know I would have not been successful with my 1st build if not for the forums and the great people on here willing to help.
