Just a reminder, this run will close in 5 days.  And, because numbers are low, there will only be one run of these.

Been a while, but I do have some progress to report.

All the major parts of the saber bodies are machined, as well as pommel inserts and heatsinks.  I need to machine the box and buttons for the Delta Voodoo and the bezel and buttons for the Delta Scepter so I can send all those parts out for anodizing that need to be anodized.  Yes, I said buttons - with the release of the CSV2, the sabers now need two buttons.  I had to redesign the sabers, and I have already let all run participants know where I am at with this work. When I get the parts back, I can set about turning off that which is not black anodized.  I still need to get the internal Delrin parts machined and hope to get them started this weekend.

I think they are looking good.  I really like how the Delta Scepter looks like it could be a real sword hilt.  Funny though, the Delta Voodoo looks so much smaller than the Delta Scepter even though they share the same length and main grip diameter.  They are short - as you can see compared to a MkVI.  8" long really is noticeable next to a 12" long saber.  No two-handed weilding on these.

I finished all the turning work on Sunday evening.  I wrapped it up with all the Delrin parts for the chassis.

I snuck in the last few aluminum parts on the mill between jobs today and finished up the last of the aluminum parts.  I still need to tumble these and then get the parts that need anodizing out.  I expect to have them shipped by Thursday and I should get them back late next week for rework.

Turned off the anodizing and cut the grooves.  I still need to drill and tap the blade set screws then I can make final adjustments and fit the chassis part and begin shipping.

Trust me, you want a fully installed one, not an empty.  When the sabers got upgraded to two switches, that means the only board that will work without pretty serious modifications is the cs2.

If Wat has an extra, I can get it installed for you.  Maybe my boy Wat has one or 5 sock-holed away somewhere ;)

Finished.  I only have one Medium Flat Rate box, so I need to get to the Post Office then these will go out to installers and customers.
