Did you receive your Obi yet?

OK, as of Tuesday of this week, all the sabers have been shipped with the exception of one I am still holding.  Everyone should have received tracking numbers also.

To save me the hassle of trying to remember to PM 29 people and ask, I would like all the run participants to post in this thread and let me know you recveived your saber box and blade(s) tube packages.

Also, let me know if there was any damage to the boxes, etc so I can make sure I pack better next time (I already switched from the cardboard triangle box to the heavy cardboard tubes for the blades).

It might also be fun for participants to post their saber number if they choose and maybe make a guess as to who did their install.  I will speak with LDM, VV, MH, Jango and Madcow and see if they would like it know whose sabers they did the installs on.  But I will ask their permission before I post the info if I decide to post it at all.

I want to thank all the run participants for your patience and your support during the course of this run.  I hope you all enjoy your sabers.

(Also - I only see a handful of reviews so far - you guys are slacking a bit. ;D)

Received hilt and blades.  Boxes were not damaged at all.  Even if it was, the hard plastic case you included would've taken care of any penetrations into the outer cardboard box.

I have #24.  I haven't been around enough to know the individual wiring styles of the various sabersmiths so I'm just gonna take a wild guess and say that GG did my install.

I received mine as well...

No damage to the saber box... but one of the white caps on the blade tube was broken... weird and not something you could do anything more to prevent... the tape you used over the end kept the tube sealed...
and the packing paper, and tape around the threads of the base of the blade probably would have protected the threads even if you hadn't taped both ends.

I have number 16, and still want to know who did my install :P

Saber box and blade tube arrived with no problems at all.

I received #19 and no idea who the installer is, but they having work done by all of them I know its quality regardless.

I've only gotten to take it out of the box once so far. I got it right before I went to a convention over the weekend and the parting gift from the con was viral flu that has me barely functional.

LOL, I am glad to know my installer. What can I say though? It turns on, it lights up and brings joy to my inner child. Not to mention my daughter wants to play with it too. I've created a monster and even though I cannot let her play with this saber, I do want to give her a custom gift someday as well to enjoy. She'll probably inherit my sabers too.

#20 is safe and sound in Okinawa now.  Still waiting on the blades.  I know who did my install but haven't seen the ok to post it so I'll keep that to myself for now.  Review will be coming soon.

Blades are still states side, why didn't I pay the extra $2 for the same shipping as the saber lol
