Gary just answered me back that it would be no problem to make the "Y" arms exact the same size and
alligned in the middle of the case. he just needs the outher diameter of the hilt ( bottom part and the first 1/3 from the emitter ). watt, could you help us out with the outher dimensions of the hilt?

and maybe the lenght between the emitter shrould ( under the red knob ) and before the covertec button, so that the saber is alligned in the middle of the stand  ;)

thanks watt!

Impressive.....most impressive,32 plus hours of machining,it must be hard to find the time for that when you work a day job also.I used to work a day job when i first started my business and it was quite challenging at times.Has there been any thought on using the new speakers that JQ-sabers found and what sound fonts will be used or boot sounds?
Sabers so far:

Luke V2,US 2.5 with crystal chamber(by ALuke123)
MR Vader ESB
MR Luke ESB
MR Luke ROTJ
MR Obi-Wan ROTS
Leia(work in progress)

that is a good question about the speakers, since there are more and more dead speakers at the moment and
the fact that the bass and quality would be a way better with the speakers from jq, it would be a interesting
option. wonder if  there is enough space in watts construction for those?

well, if you guys look at the render, it shows a rectangle/oval speaker mounted in the axis of the hilt, not pommel mounted like most sabers.  The jq speakers are supposed to be rather large too, so there is no way it would fit.  unless you left out the cf of course.  then it would fit right in the pommel.

P.S. no harshness intended with the first line, it reads more harsh than it was supposed to.

Despite the constant requests for changes, I'm fairly certain the run is going exactly as intended, and there aren't going to be any changes, of any kind, speaker or other.  What you see is what the man is doing.
