Help: Vader Force FX w/ Removable Blade Switch Issue

Hi all,

First time posting here! I got me a used Force FX Vader lightsaber with the removable blade and since day one i keep having issues where the blade is continuously powering on and off when I have the switch on.

I have changed the batteries, opened it up as much as it would allow tightened it back up to ensure nothing was loose but the problem persists. I think it might be an issue with the switch not sure if it could be anything else. If I keep pressure on the switch it seems to solve the problem 99% of the time with the occasional flicker.

Would love some help in getting to know how to fix it maybe a walk through... sorry not the most gifted with my hands.

Appreciate the help a ton! I have been procrastinating trying to get this thing fixed for over a year figured I would try it now.
