NBV4 Soundfonts Question

Can the Crystal Focus soundfont Hoth be adapted for an NBV4 just by deleting the excess files that Crystal Focus uses ,Leaving behind everything the NBV4 needs, or would you have to change any of the WAV files properties using an editing program

That's not necessary,  the nbv4 will simply ignore the extra files for the CF. All of the plecter boards use the format for the sounds files, the only thing you may need to change is the config.txt and the override.txt files.
