Very nice work! My parents have been art glass collectors since I was a kid (ages ago), and I also love the medium. There are only some things that glass can do...

The Lizard is a separate element that i built onto the Cabochon. The skull is the stopper for the bottle. all the rest are pendants that I make, which use various techniques to achieve the designs. Hope that kinda answers your question. Thanks for the kind words.

I have been thinking about the possibility of glass Blade Plugs...is this a good or bad idea?  I have little to no knowledge of them so any input would be appreciated.

I think it is fine for ornamental purposes to have a glass blade plug :).  Most people aren't dueling with their blade plugs in.

Love your work!  Really nice stuff :).

+1 for glass plugs.  You'd need to test how well they transmit light but I bet you could achieve some neat results.  Nice job on these.

Very cool!

The blade plugs are a unique idea. I could imagine some really sweet ones already.
I'll bet you could achieve some cool effects when the blade plug lights up, depending on the shape and design of the piece.

Thank you SpaceWindu. The only thing i am thinking is that the LEDs are SO bright on the Sabers, that artwork would be washed out, But, faceted glass would prob look like cut crystals. I don't own a saber yet, so my practical experiments will have to wait a while it seems; but I might just make some to guinea pig out to a few of you guys. Should i use 1" outer diameter as the plug?

if you use darker material for the base, you can still get a very nice effect with a glass plug.  This is a blade plug for a saber called Nejaa that I did.  Sithlordfaust made me a blade plug that looks like a globe.

That lizard piece is amazing!!!  You are a true artist.  I gotta know how much these pieces go for?  How much does it cost to make stuff like this??

Thank you for sharing :)
