Very nice work MD....

Also lked your SIGs.... can't wait to see more of your creative art...

Love how you incorporate the widescreen touch to these....

Definitely better than pan and scan (pauses for laughter....ok sorry... lack of sleep....crying baby kept me up).

Seriously though.... really good job, and you're work is improving each SIG I've seen.... :)

Thanks guys :). I've tried to make sure not to steal any styles with sigmaking, but I may just borrow the widescreen format more often (yes, definitely better then pan/scan, JYN ;D), it just organizes the sig better. Here's some things I've been working on all day today. I figured that maybe at the Sith Temple, they have a hall of fame. Pictures of the greatest Sith Lords of all time to remind them to be better. The Jedi Temple just honors the greatest Jedi both in the present and the future, to remind their students to be wary of both. So this is what I came up with.

Some of these were really hard to put in, the background was very very similar to the person, so it was hard to tell what was background and what was person on the edges. I didn't include shadows for these because I liked how they were this way. The backdrops are completely custom created, I'll be experimenting with some new backdrops as well. Odd thing is, the custom backdrops I invented only work with one version of Photoshop, PS version 5.0. I'm trying to find other custom backdrops (the way I like it) in the newer versions of PS, like the CS2 I use for most other things. Master Yoda was the hardest, his hair just wouldn't work in the painting, so I balded him ;D. To view larger, right click on the photo and click "View Image." It'll open it to full-size.

I'm still waiting on approval from MASTER YODA on offering graphic and photo services, but if I do get it, I would offer these except with the figure of your choice (yourself, son, family member) and other Star Wars effects. Let me know what you think :)

I love these last ones.. You're really good... :)

question: for the approval of Master Yoda, did you just drop him a PM or do you have an email adress or anything.???

greetings

Those all look awesome! I love the backgrounds you do. Yoda does look a little funny without hair, but might I suggest using the "Extract" filter to cut him out? (filter>extract) It works really well with hair, and I've used it in the past for cutting out Wookiees (those are the hardest). Here's a tutorial: http://www.tutcast.com/photoshop-extract-filter/.

Thanks! ;D I sent Master Yoda a PM, I don't have an email address for him. Patience is virtuous to a Jedi's life, I guess...pity that I'm a Sith ;).

Thanks man! 8) I had thought about using the extract filter, but with the background of the original picture, it sadly wouldn't have made much of a difference. The background melded with the hair, it just didn't work out so well, though I tried several different methods. BTW, what version of PS do you have?

Double post for something new. I'm working on creating Desktop Wallpapers, I created this one (at 800 x 600) yesterday.

I'll be creating some more generic ones (800 x 600 and my resolution, 1024 x 768) and then I'll see what I can do about some Star Wars ones :). Stay tuned for more experiments! :D

All in good time ;). I'll make sure to create some at that screen res.

Here's the one I finished tonight that I have as my personal background:

It is at 1024 x 768 pixels. I scaled it to 800 x 600 to show it here...if you want the full version, PM me.

I love your sigs, Master Durangus!
They're so distinct and look really cool ;D
Those wallpapers are pretty cool, also.
I could really see your creativity through your artwork.
Soon, I hope to have one of your sigs, also. I gotta find the right pictures first :D
May the Force be with you! :D

Thank you, Wookiecrisp!

I am working on getting website templates done for a contractor, here is one I finished last night. At 1024 x 800 pixels, it might not display on the forums, so please click this link: http://i558.photobucket.com/albums/ss25/masterdurangus/ChristianTemplate-AImage.jpg

I am also working on getting a website up for Durangus Designs. You can contact me about designs at durangusdesigns@gmail.com.

I also recently created this for Amptrooper to highlight his unique talents:

Comment is welcome!
