Just wanted to make it known that all XPE2 LEDs run at 1000ma spec - as can be seen on the data sheet:

1000ma is suggested - no more 700ma reds
I've even been running them all a bit hot - between 1100 and 1300 with no problem at all

What do you mean by all other colors run at 1000mA? There's no listings before you put that down, and theres no lumen ratings anywhere.

All the dyes are rated at 1000 I'm running my red at 1000 and it's running fine.

Does the "Run at 1000mA" include if you have two dies wired up in series? I've always been a little confused on wiring them as such changes the current needs.

Yes, in series voltage increases and current remains the same
In parallel, the voltage remains the same and current increases

These leds are amazing.
I just put a GGW in my MKVI and it is comparable to a standard MHS saber now.
I Highly reccommend these for a MKVI upgrade. The difference is night & day.

Ordering 2x rrw for my Korbanth DM1, which would work better for a deep lazer red but bright sithy? I was thinking the deep red over the regular red, but I have seen neither in the Cree. Suggestions?

Deep red will always be noticeably dimmer then red. It is a "darker" shade of the color.
Also for foc you should choose a color that is farther away in wave length.
Red orange would not be a noticable Foc for Red.

But since red orange is also noticeably brighter than red, would it not yield a brighter "flash" of red during impact? I realize it wouldn't be as noticeable as white FoC, but I think it might be closer to cannon.

On the Tri Cree XPE2 Red-Orange, how does it compare in brightness and color saturation to a regular Red? Also, I assume if I want white FoC, I'd order it as Red-Orange/Red-Orange/White, correct?
