Ok, sorry for not being more clear when I made this post, I was just kinda hyped up about showing my home made saber, lol.  :D
The blade doesn't light up, its an acrylic amber/orange blade that is removable for when I wear it on my side.
The recharge port isn't real but it has the look of one (to me) that should be on it.
The "covertech" knob isn't a real covertech as we can see, but it acts like one w/this old nextel style belt clip/holder that I use.
It was as close to a covertech knob as I could get at the time and when I got some knob types they sat in to far to slide into the clip.
Sorry for all the misleading, lol. I should have been more clear.  ;D
The saber is kinda like  Obi-Wan's w/a twist.  ;)
Anyway thanks for all the comments and I'm glad it passes approval by experts like you all, lol.
Hope I made this more clear and sorry again for the lack of details.  8)

Also wanted to add that the Front Grip is made of a small vac hose I found at Lowes that I cut to size and pushed in to the handle.
The Back Grips are actually alarm tags that we find in our DVD packages on the inside, lol.  ;)
Cut and added Black Duct tape to it in the right spots, threw in some spray painted sink rings for the upper grip/vent
VIOLA, home made lightsaber that I thought could pass if I was in one of the movies, lol.  :D
Everything I found at Lowes & Home Depot, spent a lot of hours walking around in both looking for the right parts, lol.
This saber is actually my second. My first was an Obi-Wan padawan type that I'll post pics of later also.
Now that I think of it...this saber is at least 5 yrs old or almost 5?   ???
Something like that, but it has a nice weathered look to it now in my opinion.
I'm very proud of it and I think Lucas would raise an eyebrow at it, lol.  ;D
Hope I have really cleared this post up now, thanks again for all the comments.  8)

Just noticed the cat.  Is it a savannah or a bengal?  Reason I ask is that i just helped my savannah kittah deliver 2 babies.  I love the breed...almost as much as I love lightsabers. Probably will sell the kittens to buy more lightsabers...

oh and nice lightsabers by the way.  I like the first one the most.

Yes,  it is...and as such,  it is now locked....members,  please be mindful of a topic's age (original posts' date,  NOT the most recent one....) before posting,  please.  The original poster has a total of three posts here,  all of them in this topic,  and I seriously doubt he will answer any more questions regarding this saber.  He hasn't even logged into the site since:  December 03, 2007, 06:15:13 PM
