Here’s my latest lightsaber a Russ rep obiwan kenobi anh saber by jq sabers, saber has neopixel blade tech and crystal shard 4.0 with reversed sound, sound emits from the graflex holes.
The Saber is solid and heavy as it is mainly made of steel, the lightsaber activation comes from the genuine exactra bubble strip using a goth 3d printed dual switch set up under the clamp and it works perfect.
The neopixel blade is rgb for a nice mix of colors.
The blade holder required some tinkering and modifications to hold the 1” blade and to allow for easy blade removal and it works very well, I also love that stand!!

Im very happy with how it turned out it was along time coming I think it was 2013 when I managed to get all the parts together for the build and the part that puzzled me the most was how to connect a led strip blade and make it fully removable jq nailed it!!

Yes this is my 1st neopixel saber and I’m very happy with the led string fx very cool and great fun, I really missed the scrolling fx from single led sabers so this mite be my new preference for sabers from now on,
As these are not exactly duelling sabers the neopixel is perfect imo

Very cool - nicely done by JQ.

This is interesting to me as I have a complete set of Russrep Obi ANH parts that I got piece by piece as they were made - I have it noted down that the last part I received was in 2010. Mine is currently on display as a static replica - I never thought it would be possible to do a decent install as it was never designed to do so.

Yes I had it sat for yrs before it was installed also because I didn’t think it could hold a decent blade but the set up works perfect

Here’s a brief look at the difference in quality of the. Neopixel blade compared to a normal tri Cree blade
I am very impressed with the led string blade and love all the fx I think it’s my new preference
