Title: Size of Luxeon LED???

How much room does a Luxeon take up inside sabers ???

All help is appreciated ;)

the diameter of the luxeon itself is about 20-22 mm, and is 1.8 cm height, with the optic and its mount.
Check out lumileds website for accurate drawings and datasheets !

Yup, the luxeon itself is quite small, but you must account for a bit more space for a heatsink and optics.  Then of course batteries and all that... but if you wanted to know this for a conversion you don't have to worry about that.

Well, everything is in those two answers!
Don't worry, the led can fit easily in whatever you want. My home made sabers is reallly thinner than a MR, and I had no problems with the size of the led!;)
