Is there another PC color behind the trans red?

No... it's just highly polished MHS pieces.

It can back for an upgrade so we shipped it back in it's new box.

Did you use Mothers polish and then clear coat it after or did you just buff the pieces? Im really inspired by this saber!!

I love the lit pommel especially and the trans red goes well. I was thinking Iron Man feel too, but I can see Michael Jackson as well. Great work as usual.

No.  With the "raw" MHS pieces, I polished them down using 400, 800, 1200, 1500 and then 2000 grit wet sand paper.  I did use Mother's Mag Billets (different from regular Mother's Mag) to wet the sandpaper.  The MM billets has tiny abrasive particulars that help even out the polishing process.

The process is simular to the way I polish brass.

I made a "chuck" out of a short choke MHS piece and that fits on my drill (to polish up MHS pieces)

You can certainly use MM before PCing but make sure you remove ALL (ALL, ALL, ALL) MM from the piece.  If you don't, the curing process will get screwed up and you'll be left with "bubbles" in your PowderCoating.
