Another amateur needs help with circuits!
« on: April 07, 2023, 01:02:08 PM »
Hi
I'm basically a complete beginner with this, though I've wired up a very basic single saber with hasbro parts & other bits.

I got a Darkwolf/Damiensaber v 1.2 ages ago and looking to try and use it in a homemade double bladed saber hilt with a single accent LED in the middle to light up a crystal. Nothing fancy but I'm not sure if this is asking a bit much of the board and I can't get any info from the manufacturer. I've done a draft circuit diagram and I was wondering if this lovely saber community would have a look and tell me if this could theoretically work before I put it all together and potentially break it. I know I need some resistors in there and that's a whole other thing I need to read up on but if we were to imagine resistors in the right places (or even if you could advise that as well) then does this make sense?

Thank you so much in advance as I haven't been able to find any comparative circuit diagrams anywhere on Google (perhaps for a good reason)
All the best

What kind of board and battery solution are we talking about here.

I find your arguments vague and unconvincing.

Quiet! *Slap* And there’s a fresh one if you mouth off again.
