Title: EL to LED Conversion

Greetings, this looks to be the right place for these questions. I have 2 "old" Parks sabers, 1 EL Double Helix, and 1 EL custom Darth Maul Double Blade. I would like to breath new life into these hilts, by either making them LED or string. I'm looking to try and get advice from someone that's done this kind of ancient tech rebuild before. The Maul saber I got from Parks in late 2001, and the Double Helix I got in '02. Thanks in advance to any and all that can help and point me in the right direction.

I'm wondering the same thing. I have an ancient obi wan from new hope. Its the old el blue, but I'm trying to go led with it.

I purchased an Obi and I had planned on converting it over too, but I cannot get the emitter completely disassembled for the life of me. Parks conversions are a great idea but man, do they make you work for it.
