I am no longer accepting client designs for custom builds, unless they are similar to something I've done in the past, nor am I doing retrofits into sabers not built by me. It has become too time consuming determining whether or not modern electronics will fit a design, and everyone seems to have a deadline to meet. As this is a hobby for me, it is very difficult for me to meet specific deadlines. I have other obligations such as my regular job and yes, even my family that takes precedence. If you can't accept that, then I'm probably not the "sabersmith" for your build.

- BS and CS Series sabers include either a 4-AAA or 4-AA battery holder, depending on the saber style chosen

Be advised these prices do not include miscellaneous parts cost such as wire, heat-shrink tubing, solder, glue, etc. Some soundboard options may also require changes to the battery source for a saber as well. PM for a full itemized quote for a build.
*Appropriate charger/adapters (if necessary) for set up chosen included. NOTE: Use special caution when working with Li-ion cells, they are very sensitive to charging characteristics and may explode or burn if mishandled. Make sure the user has enough knowledge of Li-Ion rechargeable batteries in charging, discharging and assembly before use. Always charge in/on a fire-proof surface. Never leave charging batteries unattended. JGJSabersTM is not responsible for damage if there is any modification of the batteries/chargers in any form or shape (including pack making). JGJSabersTM is not responsible for any damage caused by misuse or mishandling of Li-Ion batteries and chargers. Specs:
Late Change Fee structure:If a deposit has been paid and the parts are ordered, and changes by the client after that will involve a fee.
Parts cost/parts return cost + 20.00-25.00Rush Order Fee:Rush Order $10.00 base+ $10.00 for each saber ahead of yours
For example: Your saber has 7 other builds ahead of it. You need it NOW! $80.00 fee will be imposed.
I DO NOT DO deadlines...your saber will be finished when I finish it. I do this as a hobby, not a business. End of story.Nuisance Fee StructureOnce your build is started I will answer status requests once a week. 3 status requests in 1-2 weeks will get a $20.00 fee added, per request. This is a guideline, and subject to my judgment. If you want it rushed see above.
If any of these fees is applied/billed to you, they must be paid before your saber is shipped.

Delivery Confirmation or a tracking number will be sent for use with USPS Priority Mail.

I will not declare it lower than it's value. You buy it, you pay the taxes on it.
Insurance for the full replacement value is required.
WARRANTYLimited Warranty covers defects in workmanship for the Product for a period of 90 days from the original date of Receipt from JGJSabers.
This limited Warranty does not cover any damage due to (1) acts of God, accident, misuse, abuse, negligence, improper handling, commercial use or modifications of this Product, or normal wear and tear; (2) improper operation or maintenance of this Product; or (3) attempted repair by any party other than JGJSabers.* This Limited Warranty does not apply where it is determined by JGJSabers that there is no fault with the Product itself. Repairs not covered by the Limited Warranty may, at JGJSabers's discretion, be carried out at the owner's expense.
And - You, the customer, are responsible for the cost of returning the Product to and return shipping from JGJSabers.
Electronics, such as soundboards, batteries and LEDs are not warranted by me, as I did not make them.
*If you attempt to repair it yourself, the warranty is void. I will repair it, but it will be at the buyers expense.
Warranty is non-transferable.

Regarding International Shipping
On the rare occasions I ship outside the United states, I use Express Mail to ship all sabers and other products overseas. If a person wants me to use UPS or Fed Ex to send a package, that person is responsible for all shipping fees, including import taxes and duties. I also do not lie on customs forms, so don't ask me to. Be prepared to pay for it ahead of time. Example: a saber costs $265.00, that is the value I will place on the package, as that is the replacement cost. That is what you will pay taxes on. That also allows me to insure the package in case it's lost or damaged in shipment.
