I stopped by Fry's & radio shack on the way home tonight and got what I think I need based on the arcitle above.

I ended up with 22 gauge copper wire, because I didn't know what I needed, as well as 20 gauge solder.  I got my two red 2 candella LED's, and based on Snoballz comments, I got a 2 AAA battery holder.  We'll see how it works.  I'm going to lay it all out and solder, but try turning it on before I mount it back into the holes. We'll see how it goes!

Thanks for the advice.  Good comment on the switch.  I was going to mount the switch on the side, as I intend to use the mounting holes provided to wall mount it.

Let's hope I don't melt the stand/burn down the house!!

Let's hope I don't melt the stand/burn down the house!!

The worst thing that could happen is you fry the LED.  No real danger of fire.
