"If so powerful you are, why leave?"
Master Yoda asked that question to the evil Sith Lord Sidious after he stopped Lord Sidious from escaping, drew out his lightsaber and ignited the green blade. Thus begins my review of the Yoda Revenge Of The Sith FX Lightsaber.
The Box
Score: 10/10
Despite the fact it had both sides taken up by inserts and is the regular size FX box the saber was packed nicely into it and that's why I've given it a full 10/10.
The Hilt
Score: 10/10
WOW! The Yoda FX is purely awesome. Yes it is tiny and it's kind of difficult to grip it with two hands but it's feesable. It is definitely made more for one handed combat then using two hands. Every detail on this hilt is perfect from it's Limited Edition counter part. Though I still am puzzled as to why Master Replicas decided to make the final unit the Revenge Of The Sith version instead of the Attack Of The Clones one like their protype. The hilt is also light weight which is one thing I love and is very easy to do spins.
I forgot to mention that the way how they made the on and off switch is perfect.. it is virtually impossible to turn this saber off accidently, or on for that fact!
The Blade
Score: 10/10
Absolutely PERFECT blade! No blochyness in my at all, not even a dark spot. Yes the blade is shorter and thinner but that's what makes it perfect. It's the perfect saber to so spins inside the house so you don't accidently break anything! lol I am very surprised how bright the blade is in complete darkness. The blade seems pretty secure in the hilt too.
The Sounds
Score: 8/10
Not a full 10 because of the recyled sounds but I gave this a higher number since the sounds on mine are pretty loud. Also the timing is almost in synch it will take a bit to "break it in" so to speak. For mine it doesn't take much of a hit to activate the sounds.
Final Thoughts and Overall Score
Score: 10/10
Over all score, a perfect 10. This is a very awesome saber and as I stated the perfect one for indoor use and even for little kids. Master Replicas really out did themselves with this saber, now only if they can do a Sidious like this as well. :) I think I just may have found my favorite FX saber for indoor spins. Now onto the pictures!
