Nah, I guess I'll leave it on.  It'll probably still go on the rack anyway.  Don't want to pry.  Maybe drill out the rivets and replace with bolts, but prying does sound scary.
I'm not wearing hockey pads.

Never, never pry! Never! As stated above, to get a rivet out simply drill very slowly with a bit that is a smaller size than the diameter of the hole the rivet is through(the shaft of the rivet, not the head) Go very slowly and soon enough the head will seperate or be on so lightly that you can just tap the rivet out. It's easy and fairly safe if you use the proper tools and take your time.

And you're probably getting the better "metal" one as for Anakin ROTS. It must be quite sweet...  :'(

My local Borders bookstore carries the Anakin ROTS, Vader ESB, and Luke ROTJ.  Other than that I think that you've checked everyone else that carries them at least where I live.  Master Replicas actually ships them for like $7.00 though.

You can also try Best Buy and Gamestop, some Target and Wal-Mart stores carry them but it's rare so try the first two

Guys, let's keep it civil in here. :)  No name calling and such.  Let's be happy that VvNeo2000vV gets 3 FXs for Christmas.  I'm sure we all wish we could be in his position, but let's not bash him for it. :)

Wow, maybe I'm in the minority here, but I can't believe that people can think the hilt of the Luke is better than Anakin's!  The copper-ish knobs and buttons look SO much better on Anakin's than the red plastic things on Luke's.  Not to mention that the size is more appropriate. I also like the design of the power button area on Anakin's better--Luke's just looks like a hunk of metal, there's no real design to it whatsoever.  I do like the area where you can see the blade through the emitter, but that doesn't make up for the rest of it.  Throw in the better sound of Anakin's and it's a slam dunk as far as I'm concerned.

A more "movie accurate" blade color?!?  I don't know about that...

There is something to be said about personal tastes (and OT or PT bias), but the idea of movie accurate color is a question because of the OT blue vs PT blue, just look at my sig pic, it looks different.

Luke's just looks like a hunk of metal, there's no real design to it whatsoever.

If the Luke just looks like a hunk of metal, so does the Graflex 3-Cell.  The detail on the Luke ESB hilt is incredibly accurate down to even minute details.  It may be a tad oversized, but it certainly doesn't lack complexity or detail.

It also helps that the Luke's based on something real rather than a conceptual drawing or a mold somewhere.  The Anakin certainly has more flash with its chrome and copper and gold accents, but I guess it all boils down to personal taste.  Some swear by the Luke, some swear by the Anakin, and others spend a lifetime trying to tell the difference between them. ;)
