With Halloween coming (as of this posting) and Conventions around every corner, I've decided to create this thread, in hopes it will help others as they search for their costume, costume pieces...or that final piece that will complete an ensemble. And finding the right place to look or ask is difficult enough. So I hope this will aid you all in your hour of need, or just curiosity.

Here we will list all known and working website URL's, ebay sellers (of good standing), individuals of known reputation as well as sites with costuming info and tutorials. Anyone can post info, and links to photo resources are also acceptable, but links only to keep the thread nice and clean and save the space for the rest of the site. There's a lot of photos out there for references ;)

~Please no Off Topic posts to keep this thread uncluttered~

Very difficult to read black text on a black background.  Especially in this helmet where everything is a tinge of red anyways.

http://stores.ebay.com/Costume-Treasures-and-More

First time poster, saw this and had to throw up this link. Absolute amazing work. Bought my first costume here and the customer service is top of the line. It is a little pricy though. Full tunics (which only includes a mock under) doesn't include pants and run about 115, as do the robes. Though I belive she will make pants if asked for them, as he was going to for me, but ended up being out of the colors I wanted. But the material and stiching is all top of the line. Soon as I have some spare cash im going to buy a grey robe to go with my tunic. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&item=130249324135 (note: replaced the blue under with black)

Shaak Ti, I might recommend as this thread progresses, going back and adding other vendors to the very first post made by yourself, this way all the names are in one location.

I did not want to arbitrarily do it myself, in that I respect the mods who initiate a thread and figured you might want to do it yourself.

Was thinking that ;) Also, someone posted in a thread somewhere a link to a site for custom boots... I tried looking for it but couldn't remember where it was  :-\

probably this one http://www.motorcowboy.com/

-===============-

p.s: I notice most of the sites listed here are for "fan-made" merchandise.
for a change of pace --> this is a site for "licensed" star wars costumes and accessories.
http://discountstarwarscostumes.com
I think they have some (cheap) boots there too. for those that don't want to pay motorcowboy-prices

I've had positive experience with Jedi-Robe.com (http://jedi-robe.com/), which I believe is selling Costume Base made SW costumes. I wanted to post this link mostly because Costume Base is in Singapore and in many European countries importing clothing & textile from Far East Asia can be a menace, in terms of customs fees. Jedi-Robe.com is in UK, so at least collectors inside European Union will avoid customs hassle (for US buyers Jedi-Robe.com's prices might go too high anyway).

Can I post a testimonial?  Twin Roses just sent me pics of my custom made costume - details in another thread including the materials used and total cost - and I couldn't be happier with it.  Their customer service and attention to the details is superlative, and i'm definitely going back to them.
