CAINE'S SABER TO SABER DISARMS

Hello my friends,

I am excited to see the recent interest in saberplay build more and more, and I felt it was about time for me to share some more techniques with you all. I have been into doing saber builds recently, and that has been my focus on the boards.

But in our community, Caine is known as the “LED Saber Forms Combat guy”…a martial arts school owner and instructor and that is all I really want to be known as. Building sabers is just another fun thing…but martial arts and saberplay IS my thing.

So I present to you some disarms based off of the Filipino art of Eskrima, which is a stick, knife and  blade based art.

“Clockwork” Disarm

“Return to Sender” disarm

“Forearm disarm”

In any martial art, disarms are “accidental if not incidental” and I mention this in the first video. One never looks for a disarm…they just happen (with the proper  training and repetition of course)

Fascinating. The Clockwork disarm looks sort of similar to the move Anakin used on Dooku at the beginning of Ep. III. Disarm indeed!
