Title: Force.wav issues with new software ver.
Post by: Nerek387 on September 26, 2020, 02:40:55 PM
So before I updated to the latest CFX version all of my sound font folders had multiple force(n).wav files which would play in random order with Swing+aux. However, now that I updated the firmware, only force.wav plays. I tried naming all of them fclash(2,3,4,5,etc.) however those only play when I Clash+aux which I don't want to use. IS there a way to have multiple Swing+aux files anymore? If so what's the proper naming format. Below is from the updated manual but I couldn't figure it out.

Thanks

force.wav: force effect (aux+swing)
force2.wav: force effect sound (aux+clash)
More Force sounds are possible. If more than 2 force sounds are found in the font, they all
belong to the Force class and Force-Clash sounds are fclash<N>.wav

fclash are force clash, hence indeed triggered by aux + clash

more force sounds (aux + swings) have to be present to enable that new naming scheme, you hence need force, force2 and force3 (and more if you want). I'll add that in the manual

Thank you, Tatyana helped me on Facebook, I had to at fclash1.wav for the force2/3/4/5 to work randomly with Swing+Aux as I don't use Force Clash ever.
