About the Petit Crouton....

for those that think the Petit Crouton soundboard isn't loud enough,  or plays too many swing sounds when it's sitting still,  or that the ultrasound is louder/better,  watch this:

Thanks for the video Qui-gon,

Out of couriosity, do you have both of your PC sabers set to the same sensitivity?
I noticed the one was a lot more sensitive just sitting there, and was wondering if they have different settings or if the location of the board makes that much of a difference in the end result.

I will have my PC installed into my MHS saber tomorrow when the rest of my parts show up.  Can't wait.

You're right about two things:

1) The only time your saber should just be left humming on the table is if you're making a video(like this one).

2) There's nothing wrong with the PC.

Liked the video, nice to see the difference resonance can make even with some of the best boards. Also, I can see how some wouldn't appreciate the PC going off like that. In the video you said the soundboard was right on top of the battery pack so it could be helped my moving it right? Unless of course the size of the saber doesn't allow such a thing! It would bother me if my saber never had a nice hum I could count on and simply made sounds while sitting still, I think there is a nice balance to be had. From what I've seen before, and just from this video the PC definitely has the capability for that balance and is really an amazing soundboard.

The one that was going nuts with the swings while it was sitting there does that because the soundboard is located on top of the battery pack and also directly in front of the speaker.  The swing sensitivity settings are not the same,  either.  The setting in the config file for CS-35 was 0.67,  and the RLSA saber's is set to the stock 0.55.  The RLSA saber was getting multiple swing effects triggered by the vibrations caused by the speaker being one inch away from the swing sensor on the board.  That's the proof that the board functions best when it's the furthest away from the speaker as you can get it.

So true.
Sabers are cool.  :D

Theres only a few things where one would want a saber humming on it's place; Review/Showing the saber vid or doing an insane super-saber-chorus.

Thanks for the vid! Reminded me of how painful the 2.5 sec. "off-protection" on the US was :D
