Title: "Grond" - JSS Sith Lightsaber w/Petit Crouton Unlocked

After a long wait (which was well worth it), I happily present:

Cordaroyfog's Personal Sith Saber - "Grond"

This was a collaborative effort between JSS and Jango, both of whom went above and beyond to get it done.
The fins were meticulously crafted by ARKM, perfectly to the specs given.

The name Grond is a reference to the weapon (a mace) wielded by Morgoth, the greatest villain of middle earth in the works of JRR Tolkien.

This wasn't really a themed saber but when I saw the sketch the fins at the top reminded me of a mace and as my personal sith saber, I wanted the impression of heavy-handed power.

The kill key was hand made by Arkhan to replicate the Iron Crown of Morgoth, as a finishing touch to the saber.

Custom Machined Hilt
Petit Crouton Unlocked (running Shatterpoint at the moment but will probably put "Mongrel" by Eastern57 on)
LedEngin 5w Red LED
Smokey Quartz Crystal w/Red Accent LED
In Pommel Recharge Port
Custom Iron Crown Kill Key (by Arkhan)
Custom weathered Razor blade plug (by ARKM)

* Drools*............  wow dude, that is an awesome saber, i think this has to be my new favorite design for a saber. It does have an Old Republic feel to it, it turned out amazing!

...just to clarify though, I believe the soundfont you have running is Shatterpoint or a variation of it, and not Mongrel. ;)

That's correct. It is shatterpoint. I'll send you an email tonight with a rar file of Mongrel set up for PC.
Sorry, I should have double checked with you on the font choice.

JSS did the main hilt weathering.
I did the switches and covertec.

ARKM matched the weathering on the fins to the rest of the saber. Excellent work.

I love this saber. Very nice, realistic weathering. Being a LOTR/Tolkien fan, I  like the name- It's the name of the battering ram used to shatter  Gondor's city gates. That kill key looks like Sauron's spiked crown. Very Sithy indeed!

Thanks for the kind words! And I love LOTR too. The battering ram was named after the mace wielded by Morgoth and that is his crown with the 3 Silmarils set in it.

Very nice. Since it's Middle Earth, I wonder if there is a way to make the blade plug look like the eye of Sauron. Since it's Red and all. Not a thing I would change though.
