Hi there... new to the saber scene and just finished perfecting my first saber built from scratch.
I'm rocking the NBV4 with a tricree in a MPP 2.0.

Took me around two weeks since I needed to get som ESB mods done and grind the bladeholder to fit a 1 inch blade. But yesterday I finally completed the saber with everything working on first try!
I was proud up until a few mins later when the speaker started crackling and kept ramming up until nothing but crackling.
Quite turned down and frustrated I began the long process of finding "my" error.

Hours went with troubleshooting. Resistor recalc, format SDcard, resodding. Then I stumbled upon this thread an hour ago!

I took another SDcard I had from a VV graflex, formatted and copied the MPP 2.0 config over and bingo! Working saber.

So thanks OP for making this thread making a novice sabersmith very happy!

Ps. The NBv4 is also bought from Slimsaber.

Glad you got it to work! At that point i think that the sd card you got isnt one provided by us and like you probably guessed, slimsaber isnt to be trusted and isnt an official distributor.
Let is know if you want a replacement of your sd card.
