Titanium Die Cast Hasbro figures. Can someone tell me more?
« on: September 22, 2007, 05:20:55 AM »
First of all i found this topic on the matter:

http://www.fx-sabers.com/forum/index.php?topic=4139.0

But then when i was about to post i got this message:

"Warning: this topic has not been posted in for at least 120 days.
Unless you're sure you want to reply, please consider starting a new topic."

So in fear of posting on such an old thread i created this one  :D

What i want to know:

Are these made of metal? It's been mentioned that they have a certain weight to it, so that makes me guess = metal.
Can someone confirm this?
What are you opinions on this figures and scaled vehicles.

Any input appreciated.
THX.

I have the Vader Pewter and Painted versions. Yes they're made of metal. The figs are cool but way over priced. The vehicles are neat ,but not my cup of tea.I like the pewter versions of the figures myself. They have that statuesque sort of feel.Vader's helmet comes off to reveal Anakin and his arms and wrists twist.

I have the Maul figure and speeder.  I love them both.  I got the figure off of ebay.  The auction stated that they did not release the figure in the states.  I do not know if that was true or not but the price was right.  I just got the speeder from Big Bad Toy store.  It is very nice and detailed.

Thanks!

The Maul figure was not released in the United States, though I believe it had a run in Canada, so they might be easier to get than one might think.

The Boba Fett Titanium figure is a VERY nice sculpt in either painted or pewter. There is an amazing amount of detail in the character sculpts!

Keep an eye out for the C3PO figs. They come in Bronze finish, but are EXTREMELY hard to find for some reason.
