Hi, looking forward to getting started

As it says in the title, I'm looking forward to getting started.

I've been a long time, distant, admirer of all these wonderful props, replicas and builds, sitting back in relative awe of everyone's wonderful work, wishing for the day that I could own my very own saber. Well, that time is going to be shortly upon me.

Although, it's not a complete 'first build' I have just take advantage of Roman Props Black Friday extravaganza to snag myself an FX Weathered Kit of Obi-Wan's saber.

Now, I find myself here in preparation for its arrival to learn how I can take this project forward with all the functionality and flare of an FX build. Hopefully, it won't be long until I have a fully living, breathing saber at my side :)

That's awesome! Very cool that you are going 'hands on' now and will build a saber for yourself with the exact functionality that you want! A true Jedi! (or Sith) haha
