Anyone know the dimensions of the hilt? Especially the "Graflex" part.

Thanks

I've just sent mine off to be converted to a luxeon, but I'm awaiting a new one to be delivered from eBay this week so I'll measure the hilt when I get it.

The hilt measures 11 inches at its longest, and it has a diameter of 1.5 inches, or 2 inches if you include the grips. Hope this helps!  :)

Thanks silverspyder, but if the outer diameter is 1.5 for the metal part - how can it have an inner of 1-7/8"?

Hi Sol...

I just unscrewed the cap and measured the bottom (where the battery pack goes) and it's a 1 3/8" dia.

I have a later Ani (one of the heavy ones), not sure if that makes a difference.  And geesh... I never realized how thin the "metal" was.  And the grips... the metal appears to be "slotted" to allow them to fit.  Didn't know they did it that way.  Guess I should look more closely :)

Hope that helps.
